“I have say for the most part the job turned out great. I would refer TEK builders to a friend. You have some very good subs. With additional resource dedicated to planning and organizing, you guys would go from an A to A plus company. I enjoyed talking to all the guys, I know at times I slowed them down but I learned a lot. The glass shower door for the shower stall turned out beautifully. We're glad you suggested going with the tiling for both bathrooms. John the plumber is great, I think he's one of your better subs. The roofers are good, they did a great job. I'm glad we went with dimensional shingles. The exterior of the house turn out great, we got quite a few complements from the neighbors. The architect, Koz, played a big part with the plans. The pre-finished staining limited the matching ability with the existing wood work. The Rec room turned out good, I'm glad you suggested going with the engineered I-joists. I'm sure we will enjoy this room for many years to come.
“Reflecting on everything, Phuong and I had a wish list when we first started planning for the project, we believe we got what we wanted. I know by us rushing into the project and adding things as we went, this did not make it easy for you to execute the job. Also, I do understand that your company needs to make a profit. Our initial budget was very limited and it still is, this had made our interaction strenuous at times. I would say the prices you gave were fair, not cheap nor expensive. ”

“This was our first experience at building a home. We wanted a builder that took pride in their work and we found this with TEK Builders. We were able to see their work first hand on a house being built right next door to our lot on the lake. Dan is the site foremen and is also one of the owners. We can’t say enough for having the owners on site during the construction process. We used an architect to design our custom home. However, when the walls start to go up, you tend to see things a little differently. Using their forty plus years in the home building business, Dan and Travis would suggest improvements from our plans giving us better and more efficient use of floor space.
